  • Are you nervous about the big game tonight? Consider Saying..."Stay focused on doing your job tonight"

  • Are you ready to play? Consider Saying..."Your preparation has been great, make it happen!"

  • Just have fun out there. Consider Saying..."Embrace the moment...compete to win out there tonight"

  • Why are you so competitive?  Consider Saying..."Put your spirit first, honor your family"

  • Why are you not eating pizza tonight? Consider Saying..."Can I prepare something special for you?"

  • Why are you always eating protein? Consider Saying..."How are you feeling about your nutrition?

  • Why do you eat the same thing?  Consider Saying..."How are you feeling about your nutrition?

  • Why don't you ever go out or hang out with us? Consider Saying..."I admire your commitment"

  • Why are you always studying? Consider Saying..."I think you have great discipline, stay focused"

GOOD THINGS to Say...

  • I am proud of you for being so committed in your game day prep

  • Believe in Yourself, Believe in your Preparation, Believe in what you are capable of doing

  • If there is no enemy within...no enemy on the outside can do you any harm - African proverb

  • Visualize yourself doing your job...consistently with great precision

  • Impose your will on the field \ court today...take your game to them - Individual Performance

  • Be the tip of the spear...lead by example - Team 

  • Pain  is temporary, winning is forever 

  • There is not "I" in "Team" - Team 

  • Greatness = Doing a lot of small things well

  • Skill + Will = Victory

  • Focus more on doing your job...less focus on what the competition is trying to do
